Mission Bhageeratha special focus on dalits
Mission Bhageeratha is the one big project, the Telangana government is considering as prestigious, and is aiming to provide drinking water to every house through the taps.
Telangana Chief Minister KCR in a meeting with the concerned officials said that, the tribals, dalits and other backward sections have been neglected for decades from providing proper facilities. So the drinking water facilities should first be provided to them and only next to the rest of the state residents.
All the motors necessary for the project should be procured from BHEL. He asked the IAS officers and minister to speed up the works of Mission Bhageeratha and also asked to make sure that all the villages in the state would be provided with Godavari and Krishna water, through the pipelines arranged to every house.
