Along with approving the new districts in Telangana, here are the other important decisions, the state government took in the recent cabinet meeting:
- Set up of BC commission
- 119 residential schools from the next academic year.
- Municipal building tribunal
- Unified service rules in Urban local bodies
- Police commisionerates in Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Ramagundam and Siddhipet
- 23 new police divisions, 28 new circles and 92 new police stations
- Employing staff in the departments according to the reorganization of districts
- The completion of 24,648 houses in Greater Hyderabad limits by taking Hudco loans
- Fire stations in Yadagirigutta and Pedda Shankarampeta
- 6 villages under the limits of Vemulavada Temple Development Authority. Thippapur, Sankepalli, Nampalli, Chandragiri, Marupaka, Shathrajapalli.
- Exemption of transport tax on autos and tractors
- 15 acres in Sherlingampally Mandal, Khanapet, for the construction of cancer hospital.
- Free transportation for the families of 321 police, who sacrificed their lives while performing the duty.
- MROs should be called as Tahsildars
- Changes to Telangana districts formation act 1974 to bring ordinance as Telangana Disitrcts Reorganization.
