Telangana IT Minister KTR is taking road conditions in Hyderabad seriously and regarding this, the government is planning to bring out Rs. 25000 crore plan for road laying works, underground drainage and other facilities. He vowed to cleanse up thoroughly the GHMC to cater to the needs of the people and provide basic amenities.

Speaking to the media on the issue, KTR said that, that top priority would be given to white top the roads in the city. He added that the JP Group has come forward for restoration of the roads with quality and standards and works will begin at Nagarjuna Circle and KCP Junction. It was also decided to remove the division system of major roads under the GHMC’s purview.

Not just stopping with decentralizing powers at circle level, the government has even decided to offer the best services by raising the number of circles from 24 to 30, the minister said.

Speaking about the new districts, KTR said that there are 3 benefits through delimitation of the districts- Transparent governance, boost to 2nd cadre leadership, removal of the feudal system and efficient implementation of welfare schemes and development programs.
