No more additions, 31 districts fix- KCR
Due to the demands from the party insiders and other public, the Telangana government had to compromise and add extra four districts taking the count from 27 to 31. It was then touted that the count may even go high, as there are demands from the opposition parties too.
But slashing of all such demands, Telangana Chief Minister KCR strictly said that, no more demands will be considered regarding the formation of the districts. Telangana is going to have 31 districts in total.
Even the high power committee is considering the possibilities of setting up the extra four districts. On the basis of that report from the committee, the extra districts formation would be there, he said. However, changes may be done in the mandals, the dynamic CM added.
KCR also directed the officials to bring all the 31 districts into implementation from October 11th.
