A 16 year old boy set ablaze a 3 year old boy in Kalpathar, Hyderabad, for allegedly not giving way to his two wheeler. Currently, the victim, Mohammed Ali Shair, is battling for life at the Osmania General Hospital. 

When Ali was playing in front of his house with a few other children, his neighbor riding a bike reached the spot. He shouted at the children, asking them to move away. But as the 3 year old boy did not move, the accused got down from his bike, poured petrol on the child, and set him ablaze. 

Shocked over this, Ali’s friends raised an alarm, and the kid was later rushed to the hospital. He sustained burns on his neck, head, back and shoulder.

The victim’s parents said that the little one could not understand what the accused said. Based on the victim's father, Mohammed Rahim’s statement, the police registered a case against the accused under Section 285. The minor is currently in detention.
