It is known that, all the departments from the secretariat in Hyderabad, got shifted to Velagapudi in Amaravati. But the latest issue is, all the departments have lost communication with Central government departments, other state governments and important institutions at the national level.

The state government, when shifts its administration, is supposed to issue a gazette notification informing a new address for communication to all the Central government departments and others. But no such notification is issued till date.

Currently, all the Central government departments and other institutions are making correspondence with AP Secretariat departments on Hyderabad Secretariat address itself, but all the rooms are locked in Hyderabad secretariat. If there is any communication from the Centre or from any other institutions to Hyderabad secretariat address, there is no one to receive it and send to Velagapudi.

One of the senior officials of the AP government said that, once the government issues the gazette notification, it would lose all the rights on AP Secretariat buildings. Probably it is why, AP government did not release the notification, the analysts opine.
