KCR okays Siricilla district
Unable to tackle the continuous demands to declare Siricilla as a separate district, the Telangana Chief Minister has finally accepted it.
To receive the suggestions and other issues regarding the formation of the new districts, KCR is conducting the meeting with the TRS public representatives, district-wise. As a part of this programme, today he participated in the meeting with Karimnagar officials, where they urged to declare Siricilla as a separate district.
They explained that the demand is very high from the public side and if ignored, they reportedly even warned that, the consequences would be high, from the public. Even KTR, who is representing Siricilla, came down on the issue and supporting the public’s demand. Considering all these, KCR finally compromised and agreed to make Siricilla as a separate district.
