Telangana IT Minister KTR opined that, the state government achieved Open Defecation Free (ODF) in 17 cities of Telangana.

On the occasion of completing 2 years of the Swachh Bharat mission, the state government will announce the 17 cities that achieved Swachh Bharat completely. KTR also said that he is happy to achieve ODF by the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

On the other side, he equally expressed his happiness for the surgical strikes, Indian army performed and killed Pakistan terrorists. He congratulated the Indian government and also army for this.

The Telangana government recently faced severe criticisms about the battered roads that came out due to heavy rains. Adding to it, taking back promise of constructing double bedroom houses to Mid Manair residents led to much more criticism. To mask up those issues, the state government is bringing ODF forward, the analysts opine.
