While several viral fevers are taking place in Hyderabad due to the heavy rains in the recent times, Dengue is tightening its grip even more.

The negligence of the health department can be found through the spurt in dengue and fever cases. If the same situation continues, the state government would land into trouble big time, the analysts say.

About 200 dengue patients and 800 patients suffering from several viral diseases reached out to Fever Hospital. But due to the lack of proper facilities in the government hospital, they are forced to move to the corporate hospitals.

Children and youth aged between 4 to 20 years, are the first victims of Dengue. The government hospitals are lacking proper facilities like medicines and staff and so is unable to cure Dengue completely. This is making people move to private hospitals and shell out thousands of rupees for the treatment of the deadly disease.
