KCR to plan Bathukamma celebrations grandly
Just like every year, Telangana government is again planning to celebrate Bathukamma festival on a large scale. Reportedly the state government has allotted Rs. 15 crores for the Telangana state festival. The government has ordered to celebrate Bathukamma festival in every village.
Regarding this, a high level meeting would be conducted soon and plan the proceedings. Currently, Telangana Chief Minister KCR is on Delhi tour. After his return, he would finalize the proceedings, the reports say.
Meanwhile, due to the heavy rains in Hyderabad, almost every road in the city has destroyed and is witnessing potholes, ditches and craters. So it is better to concentrate on repairing the roads, rather than investing crores of rupees on celebrating Bathukamma festival, the analysts opine.
