Worried over the battered roads in Hyderabad due to the heavy rains, Telangana Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister KTR took the officials to task at a review meeting.

KTR reportedly went aggressive with the officials saying that, the state government's image is being dented with the bad condition of the roads. KTR said that, that he is aware of the negligent officers and contractors and warned them that they would face serious consequences, if they fail to repair the roads at the earliest.

While the officials told that the weather conditions destroyed the roads, KTR said that, they said the same excuse, two months ago. Adding further, the minister said that, the weather department had cautioned about the heavy down pour in Hyderabad for the next two days. 

So the the officials should be ready to tackle any emergency situation. The entire GHMC machinery should be on the roads to deal any emergency, KTR said.
