Municipal department aimed at making Telangana, an Eco-friendly and regarding this, it is planning to avoid plastic bags in the state. All the 68 urban local bodies (ULBs)- 37 municipalities, 25 Nagar Panchayats and 6 corporation cities are restricted from using plastic from this Gandhi Jayanthi on October 2nd. 

Not just the plastic bags but even plastic flexies are banned. The enforcement team within the municipal limits will make sure that all the traders implement it without fail.

Adding to it, the municipal department is even keen about cleanliness. Concerned contractor or sanitary department will be liable, if the dirt is found on the main road. The same rule applies to the shopkeepers if dirt is found in front of the shops.

As plastic never sinks into the ground, the government is keen about eradicating it completely and this intention is getting good support from the charitable organizations and people who love the environment.
