The recent heavy rains in Telangana is spreading the dengue and viral fevers among the young and old alike. Not just in rural areas, but also in cities, the government and private hospitals are filled with the patients. The people on one side is criticizing the government for the poor sanitation, the officials on the other side are blaming the atmosphere.

In Nizamabad district, 697 people were identified having viral fever symptoms and after testing the blood samples, 120 were confirmed positive. 17 people from Nalgonda were identified having dengue and five more blood samples were sent for tests to confirm the disease. Another 16 persons are suffering from malaria disease.

Reportedly, 874 people from Karimnagar, 80 from Warangal and 4800 people from Adilabad are facing tough situation due to the seasonal diseases. The lack of availability of proper medical facilities in these areas is creating additional fatigue to the issue.
