The popular and biggest Ganesh idol of Hyderabad, Khairatabad Ganesh can lastly be available for darshan today. Later the darshan would be stopped completely as the preparation for the procession and Ganesh immersion would begin.

Unlike earlier, moving the idol in the late hours and immersing it in the last minute, this time, the organizers have decided to start the process of shifting the huge idol on to the trailer truck from 6 am tomorrow and the immersion at Hussain Sagar is likely to take place around 2 pm. 

Regarding this, the trial run of immersion was already conducted on Tuesday. Distribution of Khairatabad Ganesh Laddu has already begun from Tuesday morning. 

Before the shifting process begins, keeping in mind, the 'Anantha Chaturdasi' on 15th of this month, the organizers will offer special prayers to Sakthi Peetam Shiva Nagendra Maha Ganapathi.
