Kakatiya as another Telangana new district!
Telangana Chief Minister KCR is strictly against making Hanamkonda a separate district. While a new district in the name of Bhadrakali is already on the cards, KCR is also keen to raise a new district in the name of Kakatiya and for this he is considering the rural Warangal.
"Geographically, Mahabubnagar district is the biggest one. So dividing that district into 3 separate districts will fetch good to the public," KCR said, hinting indirectly that, proposal of making Gadwal a separate district is rejected.
He further assured to complete Paalamooru-Ranga Reddy project soon and regarding irrigation sector, Mahabubnagar district will take a comfortable place just like the Godavari districts. The state government would even consider a proposal of dividing the Quay zone in Mahabubnagar district into 2 mandals, KCR said.
