2 Telangana villages get Saakshar Bharat awards
In a programme conducted on the occasion of the National Literacy Day, Saakshar Bharat awards were announced for the two villages in Telangana state.
President Pranab Mukherjee has attended as the chief guest of the function and presented the awards. Veernapalli and Bakaram are the two Telangana villages which are identified for Saakshar Bharat awards.
It is known that, Karimnagar district, Ellareddy mandal, Veernapally village was adopted by TRS MP Vinod and Rangareddy district, Moinabad mandal, Bakaram village was adopted by Government adviser Ramanachari. Now, their villages getting an identification nationwide, is surely a big thing for the state and even TRS government is happy with the way both the leaders are taking care of their respective adopted villages.
