Nation wide recognition for Telangana government hospitals
After the formation of Telangana state, Chief Minister KCR has put special concentration on the health industry and aimed at eliminating the negativity on the government hospitals. Regarding this, he brought many reforms in the health industry, which made several people visit the government hospitals.
Recognizing this, Union Minister of health, JP Nadda, in a national convention held in Tirupathi, said that, Telangana health industry has witnessed a huge development in a short span of time. He even presented an award, in this regard, to Rajesh Tiwari, the Principal Secretary of Health department in Telangana.
The current occupancy rate of government hospitals in Telangana is 42%,picking up the figure from 30% earlier, after the state government has increased the funds for the reforms in the hospitals.
