Slight changes in Kalyana Laxmi scheme
'Kalyana Laxmi' is the one scheme introduced by Telangana government, which is going well with the new brides in the state.
The state government till date used to gift the bride, depositing Rs. 51000 into the mother's account. Now making a slight changes to the scheme, the officials have decided to deposit the same amount into the bride's bank account or her father's account, if at all, mother is dead. These new changes are scheduled to come into the implementation from October 2nd.
While Kalyana Laxmi scheme is named as 'Shaadi Mubarak' for the Muslim brides, there is no clarity on whether the same changes are applicable to 'Shaadi Mubarak' too.
