Right after knowing Indians shined out in Rio Olympics 2016, several governments, including Telangana were ready with the huge gifts baggage. Telangana government topped in felicitating PV Sindhu with a whopping Rs. 5 crores as the cash prize, along with a first grade government job and several other presentations and even Sakshi Malik was honored well by several state governments in the country.

Along with felicitating after their victory, it would be better, if the government from the beginning,even takes special care about the sports, as several sport eligible Indians till date are unable to come out, just because of poverty. If the government sets up sports centres and encourages the poor but enthusiastic sports people, then there would be uncountable Sindhus and Sakshi Maliks in the country.

Though there are several eligible players in the country, as they are struck in deep poverty, even their parents are killing the thoughts of pushing their children forward. If this is the position with the parents, needless to say about the society around. So, unless the government comes forward, many talented Indians, would be forced to remain in dark.

So along with respecting the victory of Sindhu and Sakshi Malik, with the cash prizes, it would be better if the government even spends some part of that money on the poor players for training and providing the required facilities. Only then, it would be justifiable.    

AP BJP Yuva Morcha Chief, Vishnu has also spoke out in the similar way. He said that, not just awarding huge prizes to the players who witnessed victory, but the governments should even compete in encouraging the fresh talents in the country, only then, India can make it bigger in sports.
