Auto rickshaw scheme: 1100 applications cleared
Keeping in mind the unemployed youth among the poor Muslims in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali has introduced the Driver-cum-Owner scheme.
As of now, the RTA cleared 1100 applications. This scheme is implemented through Minority Finance Corporation. Within a week, about 600 applicants would be distributed the auto-rickshaws.
While Mahmood Ali targeted to allot 1000 auto rickshaws, 1800 applications were submitted online on which Telangana Chief Minister KCR has directed to issue the auto rickshaws to all the applicants. In the first phase, 500 applicants were given the auto rickshaws and 600 applications in the second phase.
