Telangana new districts notification released
Telangana government has released the new districts notification and regarding this. G.O.194 has been issued. All the discrepancies would be entertained for 1 month.
17 new districts have been planned to set up, taking the count of the total districts in the state to 27. Adding to it, 31 mandals and 14 revenue divisions will be established. For 9 districts, the notification has been released separately. Completing all the formalities, from this Dussehra, the new districts would come into the implementation, the officials say.
After the notification has been released, several TRS officials have took part in the celebrations, opining that the notification would shape out the state into a new form.
