Former DGP Dinesh Reddy today clarified that, he has no links with Nayeem. He further added that, no just he, but none of the DGPs including himself have a role in Nayeem's illegal activities. 

Here are few of the sensational statements he made, today in the meeting:

- I salute Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao for giving his consent for Nayeem's encounter. 

- Nothing wrong with Cops using Maoists who surrendered as Informers.

- There were Media Reports about the alleged links between Nayeem & Ex-DGP. I'm one among the 10 DGPs. SIT should disclose the name of Former DGP. 

- During my tenure, We tried to arrest Nayeem but permission was denied. No DGP have any dealings with Nayeem.

- I sought KCR's appointment to offer him details about Nayeem.

- I congratulate Telangana Police for putting an end to Nayeem's crime world. 

- Investigation should be impartial. SIT have the right to question any Official. 

- Innocent People shouldn't be harassed. Those who used Nayeem for personal gains need to be punished. Everyone behind the gangster should be exposed.
