Mohammad Nayeemuddin alias Nayeem, a gangster, who has been a constant target to state police, have finally got killed at Shadnagar in Mahbubnagar district today.

Including 20 murders, Nayeem has been involved in over 100 cases. After the police have got confirmed information that he was staying in a house at Millennium Colony at Shadnagar apparently to do some land settlements, they surrounded the house. Upon noticing the police, Nayeem and his gang fired at the police, who even fired back at them. In this exchange of fire, Nayeem has been killed on the spot.

Nayeem, belongs to Bhongir town in Nalgonda district, and he worked in the People’s War Group Naxalites and was responsible for the killing of IPS officer K S Vyas earlier.

Nayeem became a gangster after he was arrested and let out on bail. He set up a gang, with the support of whom, he did several land settlements, real estate dealings, illegal arms supply and extortions.

He was also the prime accused in the murders including the surrendered Maoist Sambasivudu, his brother Ramulu, another ex-Maoist Patlolla Goverdhan Reddy and civil liberties leader Purushottam.
