Mahabubnagar district police have launched a navigation app called ‘krisP’, with the intention of helping the Krishna Pushkar pilgrims to get the right references.

Lauching from August 12th, Krishna Pushkaraalu will take place upto 23rd of this month. Out of the total 52 Pushkar ghats in Mahabubnagar district, 10 are major, 15 minor and 27 are local/ village ghats.

"As a huge number of pilgrims are expected to take the holy dip, elaborate security arrangements are being made by Mahabubnagar District Police. To bring in efficiency in the force deployment and to ensure effective service delivery to the citizens, technology will be widely used," a release from Mahabubnagar police said. 

The "krisP” app consists of the details of all the Pushkar ghats in the Mahabubnagar district and their importance. 

"Google navigation to all Ghats from all the district headquarters and guided navigation option is available by clicking on 'Point B' which denotes destination point/ghat location and provides navigation link on right hand lower corner on the screen," the release said.
