Hyderabadis use Whatsapp for traffic updates
Hyderabadis are now going to use Whatsapp to know the live traffic jam updates, heading a step in technology.
IT associations are mostly relying on the local WhatsApp groups to share live traffic information in the city. Every association has several groups exclusively for sharing traffic information.
TITA (Telangana Information Technology Association) president Mr Sundeep Kumar Makthala said that, when someone is aware of the traffic in any area, they would be posting the update on the whatsapp group, so that it alerts others and makes them pick other route.
“Almost everyone, from a class IV employee working in IT companies to software professionals, check Google Maps before starting for office or home to check real-time traffic,” he said.
