Traffic violators in Telangana get unique punishment
While the officials are busy in planting the saplings as part of the Telangana government’s Harithaharam, itseems, that, it is turning tough to concentrate on the traffic violators.
So Mahaboobnagar district has came out with a unique idea of punishing the traffic violators and also continue Harithaharam by making the violators itself, plant the saplings. However, other punishment and paying the fines for traffic violation are anyway there.
Superintendent of Police, Rema Rajeshwari of Mahbubnagar District, has initiated this proposal. Mahaboobnagar has the highest accident prone zones, as most of the accidents here are fatal. This initiative is in use for past three weeks and positive results are observed, the reports say.
