Liquor prohibited in Hyderabad till August 6th
In an attempt to control the unfortunate incidents during the Bonalu festival, Hyderabad police have revealed a new idea, which is being appreciated by the citizens now.
As per the proposal of Hyderabad Commissioner of Police M. Mahender Reddy, till August 6th, consuming liquor in public places, has been strictly prohibited. Anyone who is seen consuming Alcohol in the public places, will be punished severely. However, the alcohol can be consumed at their residence.
Though in the beginning, the officials have considered a proposal of prohibiting the alcohol completely during the Bonalu, expecting the negativity from the wine shop dealers, that proposal was taken back.
