Not just planting, but care too- KCR
Telangana government which has taken Harithaharam as the prestigious programme, is taking on even more seriously now. Chief Minister KCR has ordered the officials that, Harithaharam do not complete with just planting the saplings, but also every such planted sapling, should be taken good care of.
“For watering the plants, support from the fire engines and Panchayat water tankers should be taken. According to the requirement, even funds from the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) will be utilized for taking care of the planted saplings,” KCR said.
While there are criticisms saying that the officials are just planting the saplings and leaving the place, with least bothering about it, the initiative TRS government took regarding the plants now, is appreciable.
