Hyderabad HC: President's power restricted-Centre
Centre said that, it will not provide finance, if the High Court is set up outside the state's territory. Adding to it, Centre along with Telangana government told to Hyderabad high court that, power of President in notifying the principal seat for the separate High Court for AP has been restricted with the judgment of the court with regard to establishment of separate High Court.
Prakash Reddy, senior counsel appearing for Mr Ravinder Reddy, has said that, according to Reorganisation Act, the Centre recognizes the significance of providing the High Court, Raj Bhavan and Secretariat for the state. While declaring that the hearing of the pleas concluded, the bench reserved its order.
