Telangana officials donate 1 month salary
Telangana IT Minister KTR has donated his one month salary for the prestigious 'Haritha Haram' programme. Even other officials like Municipal Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Chairpersons & Vice Chairmans have voluntarily offered their one month salary and adding to it, even the employees have come forward to sacrifice their one day pay.
Speaking in a video conference with the Municipal Corporation Mayors and chairpersons, KTR said that on July 18th, about 20 lakh saplings will be planted in all the Municipalities and the minister will be in Sangareddy on that day for taking part in Haritha Haram.
Sanctioning Rs. 10 crores for Haritha Haram in Municipalities, KTR has assured to offer additional funds to those Municipalities which showed good progress in planting of trees.
