KTR plans white-topping roads to Hyderabad
IT Minister KTR asked the Cement Manufacturing Companies’ Association to bring down white-topping roads construction costs.
KTR said that, Telangana Chief Minister KCR would soon conduct a meeting and discuss about the steps to be taken by the GHMC in coordination with Water Works, Electricity, Telecom and other departments at the time of laying white-topping roads.
The minister also enquired about the construction of white-top roads already taken up on the experimental basis in several cities. He asked on the behalf of the government to take defect liability for 15 year period after constructing the same, assuring to give road designing works to the construction companies.
