Telangana government has aimed at changing the definition of the government schools, which the people believe that there would not be any facilities. 

Regarding this, Telangana Chief Minister KCR has planned to keep the certain amount of money in the school itself. This proposal will erase the need of roaming around the government officials for every small purpose related to the school.

Here is the list of the grants, the government has decided to allot.

- In primary and upper primary schools 

Below 40 students- Rs. 25000 

Above 40- Rs. 30000.

- In High schools

Below 40 students- Rs. 50000

Above 100- Rs. 100000  

- Part time worker, for the school maintenance, during the school working hours and watchman, during the nights. (These employments will be only for 10 months, not in summer holidays)

- Part time workers, including watchman will be paid Rs. 2000 for below 40 students school and Rs. 2500 for above 40 students school. And in high schools based on the strength, Rs. 2500, Rs. 3000, Rs. 3500 can be paid as salaries.
