Hyderabad priest rapes woman on pretext of puja
A temple priest in Hyderabad was arrested for allegedly a 45 year old woman, calling her to his room for a special puja.
K Rama Rao alias Ramu, (26), has noticed a woman crying at the temple in Vittalwadi, Hyderabad. Upon the woman telling her problems, Ramu asked her to come to his house, so that he could perform a special puja, to get rid of her problems.

The woman, believing the priest, went to his house and was allegedly raped. She then approached the police, who then registered the complaint upon the charges of rape, wrongful confinement and cheating under relevant sections of IPC was registered and the accused was arrested and will be produced in the court soon.
The woman was sent for the medical examination, the police said, adding that, a probe is on into the incident.
