KTR to be External Affairs Minister soon!
To look after the Telanganites in the foreign countries, the Telangana state government has made a proposal of introducing an exclusive NRI policy, following the similar lines of Kerala model, which is to landing a minister to take care of the foreign affairs.
Regarding this, Telangana Chief Minister KCR is considering a proposal of making his son and the IT Minister KTR as the first ever 'External Affairs/Foreign Minister' of Telangana. KTR, in a recent meeting has announced that, Telangana's NRI Policy's draft has been prepared and it would be finalized in a meeting on July 16th.
Currently, KTR holds portfolios such as IT, Industries, Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD) and Commerce. Adding to this list, he would also be handling External Affairs ministry soon.
