Former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy may be likely appointed as in-charge for Congress party in Telangana, replacing AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh.
Chandy served as the CM of Kerala during 2004 and 2006 and for a full term between 2011 to 2016, and he recently lost the elections. Chandy faces allegations of massive corruption in the solar scam, which also includes sex link with Saritha Nair, touted to be the mastermind behind the big scam.
The analysts reacting to Chandy being in-charge for Congress said that, the controversial CM has no idea of what is happening in Telangana and would take a lot of time to get a basic idea about it. So instead of him, Jyotiraditya Scindia can do better justice for the post.
Congress party, which is already at the worst stage in Telangana, is yet to worsen, if Chandy adds, the analysts opine. It should be seen, whether the Congress still moves forward with Chandy or opt another one.
