Telangana private hospitals association has decided to show no entry to the patients who are visiting the hospitals with Aarogyasri cards in their hands.
The private hospitals allege that, they are not being paid the amount from the government. As of now Rs. 411 crores are yet to be out from the Telangana government, which recently promised to pay Rs. 100 crores but could clear only Rs. 40 crores as of now.
Demanding to clear the rest of the amount, and also assure to pay the balances regularly, the private hospitals association in Telangana, has now decided to show no support to Aarogyasri from this coming midnight.
This worsens the situations of the poor in the state, who are availing the health benefits, under the scheme for free, which inturn shows a severe negative impact on the government. So it would be better, if the Telangana government comes forward on the issue soon, the analysts opine.
