Telangana new districts and its assembly segments
Earlier, while Assembly constituency delimitation was held, one assembly constituency was brought under one district jurisdiction itself. But the new districts which are ready to take its form will not follow this proforma, says Telangana Chief Minister KCR.
The CM says in the about to form new districts in the Telangana state, two or three districts could come under one assembly constituency. As of now, each district is occupied with 36 lakh population on an average. The mandals which are nearer to the district headquarters should retain in the respected districts, CM said.
KCR further directed the officials to start the works of the districts formation from Dussehra, adding that, proposals regarding 14 districts have already reached and 73 mandals may be formed newly, says the Telangana Chief Minister.
