While the rains are being considered as boon to the farmers, it is turning out to be a curse to the Hyderabadis day by day.
The roads are unable to tackle the increase in population, and are killing the hours in the name of traffic here. Adding to this, the rains in the recent times are further worsening the condition, with the several small pits on the road, threatening the vehicles. The water on the road is remaining for hours together and is obstructing the traffic on the road, especially the corporate employees, who face the time issues, are left with no choice, other than facing the disasters.
Telangana IT Minister KTR recently has even responded on the issue, saying that, Hyderabad cannot be a global city, if the roads and the system is like this. The government has even decided to privatize the roads maintenance, expecting that would scatter the needs to the several places in state and thus would benefit the public big time, and with more quality.
Recognizing the issue, on the beforehand and responding to it instantly is what the Telangana government is doing, since two years. Hope the same would be followed this time too and serve the needs of many.
