Bonalu is one big festival, Telangana state is looking forward now, and the officials are planning to celebrate it widely, elevating the state culture.

GHMC has allocated Rs. 14 crores to Bonalu and regarding this, it is going to repair the roads, footpaths, lightings etc. Especially in Laldarwaja, Secunderabad and few other important places in Hyderabad, where the festival is celebrated grandly, the officials are making the special arrangements, to make sure no disturbance occurs. They are even concentrating on the cleanliness in the areas and is even yet to call the tenders to take up the projects regarding this.

Compared to the last year, the officials this year, have created an additional of Rs. 3 crores and have decided to complete all the works 2 days before the festival. The likely dates of the festival are July 10th, July 17th, July 24th and July 31st.
