Compensation as per choicest act to Mallanna Sagar evacuees- KCR
While the Mallanna Sagar project is creating huge controversy among the political circles and even the opposition party leaders are targeting the Telangana government every now and then, criticizing the TRS government, finally Telangana Chief Minister KCR itself took his time to open up on the issue.
He has clarified regarding payment of compensation to evacuees of Mallanna Sagar Project. ‘Farmers will be paid compensation as per the act of their choice. If they desire to have compensation as per GO 123 or in accordance with 2013 act, they will be paid accordingly as per rules and regulations. Compensation would be paid in the interests of farmers according to their opinions.’
