AP Bhavan belongs to Telangana- KCR
Telangana Chief Minister KCR, has written a letter to the Home Minister Rajnath Singh, seeking to give AP Bhavan to the Telangana state.
KCR said that, the area in which AP Bhavan was constructed in Delhi, comes under Hyderabad (1953). So anything constructed during the Nizam times, would belong to Telangana itself, CM said.
Adding to it, KCR further said that, the Telangana government, if needed, would support AP government in constructing a fresh AP Bhavan and Centre should give land to AP government for it.
It is known that the Centre even divided the AP Bhavan. While the dual states controversies are on rest since long, the current issue may raise the unnecessary disturbances between both the states, the analysts say.
