Complaint to EC against TS, AP speakers
As both the Telugu states speakers are related to the leading parties, they are unable to take action against the MLAs who quit the party, says, CPI Secretary Chaada Venkat Reddy.
Regarding this, he wrote a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner, Nasim Zaidi, seeking to announce the ineligibility as per the Anti-defection law on people who left theparty. As CPI MLA Ravindra Babu has quit the party and joined in TRS recently, he should be announced ineligible, Reddy demanded.
He even asked the Central Election Commission to interfere in the issue. But as the Central election commission has no right to interfere, how would it react to CPI Secretary's demand, is to be seen.
