Polio eradication programme in Telangana begins today
Starting from today, for one long week, (up to 26th of this month), the Telangana government is conducting the Polio eradication programme.
As reported earlier, after the government has recognized the polio virus in Amberpet, Hyderabad, recently, it is making the active operations, conducting the polio awareness programmes in the rural areas and boosting them to come forward with their kids, to take the vaccine through injection.
The government officials have specified that, kids aged between 6 weeks to 3 years, should take the vaccine, without fail. Estimating to provide the vaccine to around three lakh children, the government has made all the required arrangements, so that kids would not find tough to get it.
