Yes, you read it right. A US law permitted a company called Moon Express, to land on the moon. Regarding this, the company is offering tickets for more than $150,000,000, and the trip is scheduled for 2026.

Naveen Jain, the mastermind behind the company, which founded back in 2010 and he and his team have been working tirelessly to convert this dream of many into a reality.

Reportedly, US Federal Aviation Administration permitted Moon Express to launch its first unmanned mission by 2017. Not only targeting to bring the people onto the moon, the company is even exploring the idea of possible mining ores from the Moon’s surface. The target for this unmanned mission is to survey possible spots for mining, the reports say.

Few reports also claim that, the trip would begin through a launch from Soyuz rocket from Russia and will drop by the International Space Station (ISS) before officially making it to the moon. In a total of 17 days in orbit, they are expecting to bring the spacecraft within 100 kilometers from the surface of the moon and not exactly land on it.
