Trade: Sankranthi winner this year

Much to the shock of many, Shatamanam Bhavathi, which has been released among two big releases- Khaidi No 150 and Gautamiputra Satakarni, during the Sankranthi season, emerged as the winner of the festival.
In less than two weeks of its release, the film was able to witness Rs. 22 crores share in the Telugu states.
Area wise break of Share:
Nizam – 8.06 Cr.
Ceded – 2.23 Cr.
Nellore - 49.3 lakhs
Guntur – 1.46 Cr.
Krishna – 1.47 Cr.
West - 165.6 Cr.
East – 2.37 Cr.
Uttharandhra – 4.08 Cr.
13 days Share (both Telugu states) - Rs 21.82 Crores.
Coming to the overseas collections, the Dil Raju’s production venture witnessed USD 700K+ in the US and took the overall worldwide share to Rs. 27 Crores.
On the other side, both big films Khaidi No 150 and GPSK could just break even and did not witness any profits. But Shatamanam Bhavati is able to give huge profits to the makers. Its in these terms, Sharwanand’s starrer can be considered as Sankranthi winner.
On the 13th day too, SB is able to collect Rs. 1.7 crores, indicating that it’s a clear Sankranthi winner. The trade pundits opine that, the film would cross Rs. 30 crores share in its full run.
