Foundation stone for India’s first Bullet Train Project soon

One of the several dream projects of PM Modi is introducing Bullet Train in the country. He and his counterpart of Japan Shinzo Abe will lay foundation stone for India’s first ever Bullet Train Project at Sabarmati Railway Station in Ahmadabad on September 14.

This bullet train will be operated between Ahmadabad and Mumbai, one of the heavy crowded routes in India. The train will cover the distance of 508 KM between the two cities in just two hours as it runs with 320 KM per hour speed.

This project will be built with an estimated cost of Rs.98,000 crores, out of which Japan will provide 81 percent loan with nominal interest. This project is expected to be operational by year 2023.
