TRS MLAs and Ministers are in touch with us: Congress
Telangana Congress working President, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has made a sensational announcement yesterday. Speaking to media persons at party office Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday, he said “Very soon state political situation is going to change completely. Around 7-8 ministers of KCR cabinet and nearly 15 TRS MLAs are likely to join our party. Some TDP leaders are also keen to join us keeping in view of dark future of their party in the state. A TRS female MLA from Warangal is also in touch with us. They all want to join us as they are fed up with the dictatorship of CM KCR. They will join us in an appropriate time in the near future. We are sure that Congress party will definitely return to power in the state after next elections,” said Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
Whether or not his announcement is true, there is scope for such developments in the state because the Centre made it clear that it is has no plans to increase the number of assembly seats in both Telugu states before next elections. Hence, all those who joined the TRS hoping tickets in the next elections have to return to Congress or BJP to ensure party tickets. Congress party high command is also reiterating that it is going to declare its candidate for assembly and Lok Sabha 6 months in advance. Moreover, Modi government is planning to advance the general elections by six months coinciding with other state elections. So, these are two good reasons for the TRS MLAs to think about jumping into Congress party. Probably, they may start jumping from the party any time after January next year.
