Telangana Chief Minister KCR, is all set to inaugurate the first irrigation project, after the formation of the separate state. The Bhakta Ramadasu lift irrigation project in Khammam district, will take its inauguration today.
On February 15th last year, KCR had laid the foundation for the project. With the active involvement of the Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao, the project has been completed months ahead of the scheduled date. The Bhakta Ramadasu project will supply water to 60,000 acres in Palair Assembly constituency.
As it is Bhakta Ramadasu Jayanthi, KCR will inaugurate the project and dedicate it to the nation.
