NEET in regional languages now!

Keeping in mind the demands of the various states, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for filling of MBBS and BDS seats across the nation, has been decided to be held in all the regional languages.

Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Assamese and Bengali are the languages, the students can choose to attempt the NEET. Earlier, students from the several states, have appealed to the Central Human Resources Department that the rural students would lose heavily unless the NEET is held in the regional languages. Responding to this request, Union minister Prakash Javadekar had directed the officials to make arrangements to conduct the NEET in regional languages. An official announcement would be held on this very soon.
